Hearing Shines Light on Why Walmart Doesn’t Share NY’s Values

New York- Today, current and former Walmart employees bravely testified before the City Council at a hearing that focused on Walmart’s long history of exploiting and mistreating workers, while creating dangerous and harmful work environments for its employees. The workers traveled to New York from all over the country and offered testimony about their experiences working for the Arkansas based mega-store – including the lack of bathroom breaks and the culture of fear management creates.
