Chicago, IL–Wal-Mart Announced they want to open “dozens of new stores” in the next five years in various sizes ranging from 8,000 square feet to the typical  200,000 square feet Supercenter. 

Just a few days after Wal-Mart Stores appears to have won over skeptics in the Windy City of Chicago, the retailer has its sights set on another untapped metropolitan area: Washington, D.C. 

Community groups claim victory, but retail giant won’t pay “living wage” unions wanted. 

Portola Valley, CA– The Walmart Store at Westridge Shopping Center in Salinas will reopen in the fall when a renovation is completedm a company spokeswoman said.
